June 29, 2019 in Bristol, VT — The Vermont Gran Fondo is a non-competitive road bike ride through Vermont’s Green Mountains. The ride will test participating cyclists’ fitness with challenging climbs through some of Vermont’s notorious mountain gaps.
Four ride options are proposed to participants: a gran fondo (108 miles with 11,400′ of climbing through the Appalachian Gap, Lincoln Gap and Middlebury Gap); a medio difficile (66 miles with 6,900′ of climbing through the Appalachian Gap and the Lincoln Gap); a medio facile (77 miles with 7,000′ of climbing through the Appalachian Gap and Middlebury Gap); and a piccolo fondo (37 miles with 2,600′ of climbing, but not through the gaps)…Learn more
