Cycle the Seacoast is a one-day, multi-route cycling event organized by the American Lung Association. It is both challenging and fun for serious athletes to weekend warriors with kids in tow. Participating cyclists can choose between three route options: a 25-mile ride, a 50-mile ride and a 100 mile-mile ride (century) along the historic Seacoast in New Hampshire. All rides start from Cisco Brewers (previously Redhook Brewery) in Portsmouth, NH.
Children ages 7 – 17 must be accompanied by a parent or adult legal guardian on the same route at all times. Child and guardian must both meet the fundraising minimum in order to participate. All children between the ages of 7 and 9 must be on a tagalong or tandem bike. All children 12 and under will only be permitted to ride the 25 mile route at Cycle the Seacoast.
Cycle the Seacoast is a fundraising event for which cyclists are required to raise a minimum of $200 per person ($100 for ages 7 – 17; $400 for families of 4 including 2 adults and 2 children).
The registration fee is $35 if paid in advance or $45 the day of the event, in addition to the fundraising minimum. Please visit the event’s website for more information.
