Trek Across Maine

The Trek Across Maine is a multi-day, multi-route cycling event celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2019. This year, a brand new route will have a start and finish line hosted at the Brunswick Landing with overnight stops at Bates College in Lewiston and Colby College in Waterville, ME.

The Trek Across Maine is the largest fundraising event of its kind in the nation. Organized by the American Lung Association, the event has raised more than $24 million in the past 30+ years.

Join nearly 2,000 cyclists and 750 volunteers on this one of a kind journey on Father’s Day weekend.

Participating cyclists three route options with varying levels of mileage and fundraising. The registration fee is $50 (non-refundable & non-transferable) for each route option. It does not count toward the fundraising minimum, which is $550 for the 3-day option ($400 for ages 7-17), $400 for the 2-day option ($300 for ages 7-17), and $250 for the 1-day option for adults ($200 for ages 7-17).

Children between the ages of 7 – 12 must ride a tandem or tag-a-long bike with adult guardian. All children under the age of 18 must have an adult guardian with them at all times on the route. Child and guardian are both required to meet the fundraising minimum. Please visit the event’s website for more information.
