Bike MS: Ride the Vineyard

Bike MS: Ride the Vineyard is part of a series of fundraising events organized annually by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to support research against multiple sclerosis.

Road cyclists can choose between 3 different routes — 18 miles, 30 miles and 60 miles —, starting from the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School in Oak Bluffs, MA.

The minimum age to ride any of these three routes is 12. Riders aged 12 through 17 must review the Safety in Group Cycling brochure with a parent or legal guardian before the ride, and they must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult (at least 21 years of age) at all times. One adult may be responsible for no more than three youth riders. Trailers, tagalongs, or child carriers aren’t allowed.

The fundraising minimum is $250. Walk-up registrations are accepted, but riders are encouraged to register early and raise more money to have the greatest impact. Please visit the event’s website for more information and fundraising tips.
