Bike for Thought “Tour of Lights”

The Bike for Thought “Tour of Lights” is an annual charity bike ride organized by the Brain Injury Alliance of Connecticut. The funds raised by this cycling event benefit brain injury prevention services in Connecticut. The 10th edition of the event honors Joe Damon, its founder and inspiration.

The “Tour of Lights” takes cyclists through a beautiful coastal ride with incredible views of seven historic lighthouses. Participants can choose between two different routes: a metric century (62 miles) and a 25-mile route. Both rides start at UCONN’s Avery Point. The metric century will take riders to Westerly, RI and back to Avery Point, while the 25-mile ride will tour the scenic Connecticut coast.

Registration is free for riders who raise $100 and adaptive riders. For other riders, on-site registration is $60 for the metric century (62 miles) and $45 for the 25-mile route. Early bird rates are also available. Please visit the event’s website for more information.
